Born on Jun. 26, 1942 in Nam Dinh Province, Vietnam.
Achieved Gold Medal at Saigon National School of Drama and Music in 1960.
Graduated Dan Tranh with the first position from Saigon Conservatory of Drama
and Music (1962) and Pedalogy of Popular Music (1993)
Became the Chief of Hoa Sim National Music and Folk Song Group in 1966.
Became the professor of Saigon National School of Drama and Music from 1962-1975
(teaching at Hue National School of Music in 1968).
Became the professor of HCMC Conservatory since 1975.
Became Chief of Tieng Hat Que Huong Troup from 1981.
Awarded Diploma of Merit from the Ministry of Culture and Information in 1993 for
excellent performance in training Young Talents winning high prizes in international
and national professional contests.
Achieved appellation “Eminent Teacher” in 1994 from the Ministry of Education.
Achieved Medal “Excellent Contribution to education activity’ in 1995.
Author of many famous textbooks of Dan Tranh.
